COVID-19 Office Updates

Our number one priority is the health and safety of our patients, our staff, and our families. The COVID-19 global pandemic has brought about many changes to our daily lives, but one thing that remains constant is our commitment to providing our patients with the highest quality care in the safest environment possible.  Despite the Texas governor's lifting of the statewide mandatory mask mandate on March 10, 2021, we will continue to observe mandatory mask wearing and any COVID-19 protocols we had set in place for the past 12 months for our business.

We thank you for your understanding and patience as we initiate new office procedures to protect our patients and staff. These extra precautions include the following:

  • A mask must be worn at all times during your office visit. Given the short supply of masks, all patients must bring their own mask.
  • To comply with social distancing measures, only the patient will be allowed in the exam room (except for an essential caregiver or parent/guardian of a minor).
  • Upon entry to the office, you will be screened with a temperature check.

This is a unique and rapidly changing situation, and as we learn more about this virus and the best safety measures, we will adjust our practices according to CDC COVID-19 guidelines. We appreciate your trust and flexibility while our team works to ensure your safety and the long-term health of your eyes.

We look forward to seeing each of you again very soon!
